Product Advantages

High-Safety Protective Design

  • Visible Contact Isolation: The clearly visible on/off contact isolation structure indicates the operational state, reducing the risk of live operation. The IP3X protection (operation surface) blocks solid foreign objects ≥2.5mm, ensuring enhanced safety.

  • Bimetallic Arc-Resistant Baffle: Increases arc tolerance by 30%, withstanding 3.6kV AC withstand voltage for 1 minute without breakdown, meeting strict safety standards.

Flexible Single/Double Throw Configuration

  • Single-Throw (1P/3P): Allows for power disconnection.

  • Double-Throw: Enables dual-power/load switching, providing flexibility for various power distribution needs.

  • Rated Current Range: From 100A to 1600A, catering to diverse applications.

Long Lifespan & Corrosion Resistance

  • Silver-Plated Contacts: The contacts feature a thickness of ≥8μm and ensure low contact resistance (≤50μΩ). These contacts support a mechanical life of ≥10,000 operations, ensuring long-term reliable performance.

  • Flame-Retardant PC Housing: The UL94 V-0 rated PC housing resists high and low temperatures, as well as corrosive gases (e.g., H₂S, SO₂), making it ideal for use in harsh industrial environments.

Rugged Environmental Adaptability

  • Operational Range: The switch operates efficiently within 20%-90% RH (no condensation), making it suitable for various environmental conditions.

  • Pollution Degree 3: Resists dust and chemical contamination, ensuring reliable performance in challenging industrial environments.

Applications

Main Isolation for Low-Voltage Distribution

  • Visible Electrical Break: Functions as the main incoming power switch in switchgear, providing a visible electrical break to ensure safety during maintenance.

  • Safety Compliance: Helps meet electrical safety protocols by clearly indicating when the power is disconnected, preventing accidental energization.

Motor Control Circuit Switching

  • Double-Throw Capability: Enables no-load switching between primary and backup power or loads, enhancing operational flexibility.

  • Industrial Application: Ideal for use in industrial production lines, providing seamless switching between power sources for critical machinery and systems.

DC Isolation in PV Systems

  • Custom DC Models: Offers customized solutions for isolating DC sides of photovoltaic (PV) arrays when used in conjunction with circuit breakers.

  • Efficient Power Isolation: Ensures physical isolation to prevent electrical hazards in solar power installations, enhancing safety and system reliability.

Safe Power Disconnection for Equipment Maintenance

  • Power Disconnection: Safely disconnects power during the maintenance of equipment such as transformers and capacitors, ensuring a safe working environment.

  • Compliance with Protocols: Meets stringent electrical safety standards, reducing the risk of accidents during maintenance operations.

Operation Guide

Installation Requirements

  • Vertical Installation: The isolating switch must be installed vertically in a vibration-free and corrosion-resistant cabinet to maintain optimal performance.

  • Ventilation Space: Ensure at least 50mm of space around the unit for proper heat dissipation and air circulation to prevent overheating.

  • Terminal Bolt Tightening: Tighten terminal bolts to the specified torque (e.g., 80N·m for the 1600A model) to guarantee secure and reliable electrical connections. Over-tightening may damage the components, while under-tightening can result in poor conductivity.

Operation Guidelines

  • No Load Operation: Always ensure the switch is operated without load. Do not switch while the circuit is under load, as this can cause arcing and damage the contacts.

  • Power Disconnection Confirmation: Always verify that the circuit breaker is fully turned off and that power is completely disconnected before opening or closing the switch.

  • Double-Throw Switches: For double-throw switches, ensure phase consistency between the two power sources before switching. This will prevent equipment damage due to phase mismatches and ensure smooth operation.
